Lesson Plans

The Our World Irish Aid Awards lesson activities have been designed for 3rd-6th class pupils.  There are four units for each stage (3rd-4th | 5th-6th).  These lessons will support your pupils as they explore sustainable development issues as part of this year’s Awards theme, ‘Food for Life’.  Through lesson activities, pupils will become increasingly aware of global challenges such as hunger, poverty, injustice, inequality and climate change; and, will consider how everyone everywhere has a role to play in creating a better world, and contributing to the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

We would love to hear about how you get on with these lessons and all the exciting OWIAA project activities.  Let us know via Twitter using the hashtag #ourworldawards15
