The Our World Irish Aid Awards 2018 have officially launched! Thanks to St. Feichin’s National School in Abbey, Co. Galway, for hosting the launch of this year’s Awards today. Minister of State for the Diaspora and International Development, Ciarán Cannon TD, joined pupils from Maria Burke’s Senior Class to mark the occasion. The theme for this year’s programme is “Transforming Our World”, which asks teachers and pupils nationwide to think about how they can transform the world through the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
